| Attention All Anglers of Media Bass :
This past year has brought about a couple of new scenarios to our sport that have been reviewed, discussed, investigated, and considered seriously and intensively. Both topics involve Rule #8.
Topic One ) The Alabama Rig - Due to the possibility of serious injury to bass, Media Bass has revised our rules (Rule #8) '... not more than two separate lures with hooks may be used at a time by contestants.' This rule adaptation will allow anglers who wish to use the Alabama Rig to use the rig, they just cannot have
more than two lures with hooks on it.
Topic Two ) The Hydro Wave - After much review and angler input, the Hydro Wave will be permissable. We will continue however, to not allow anglers to use Cell Phones '... for the sole purpose of locating or catching bass during tournament hours.'
